Many companies and firms seek to partner with our Veterans Today Network and reach our millions of unique visitors each month. Because Israel is now one of the worlds centers for internet, VTN receives many proposals from Israeli firms.
But for decades, Israel has denied Palestinians their fundamental rights of freedom, equality, and self-determination through ethnic cleansing, colonization, racial discrimination, and military occupation.
Despite abundant condemnation of Israeli policies by the UN, other international bodies, and preeminent human rights organizations, the world community has failed to hold Israel accountable and enforce compliance with basic principles of law. Israel’s crimes have continued with impunity.
It is time to put an end to looking the other way!
When we receive such inquiries and proposals we inform those firms that we are active in our support of the BDS Movement and send them this response asking them to confirm where they stand:
“Thank you for inquiring to partner with Veterans Today Network. Before we can entertain your proposal, we must first qualify your firm.
Because your company is headquartered in Israel and we support BDS (Boycott Divestment & Sanctions), please provide information that your firm is NOT a participant in Israeli Apartheid and that your firm actively stands with the rights of the indigenous peoples including but not limited to Israeli non-Jews and those non-Jews living under occupation.
We know they are many outstanding great Israeli companies and peoples in Israel. Our firm just wants to make sure we stand in solidarity with those companies and people that will be driving our connected 21st century forward together with freedom, liberty and justice for all.”
We call on all other businesses both in the USA and around the world to send the proper message to companies in Israel that, if they want to be part of our 21st century connected global community that they need to put the pressure on their government to End the Occupation and respect the full rights of their First Nation peoples.
